The Ugandan president elect H.E Kyagulanyi Ssentamu Robert alias Bobi Wine has held talks with the former NATO Secretary general Mr. Anders Fogg Rasmussen, a Danish national.

Mr. Anders, a democrat served the North Atlantic Treaty Organization from 2009 to 2014 as the Secretary general and his achievements among others includes the removal of the Libyan tyrant Col. Muammar Gaddafi.

Although details of the meeting between Bobi and the ex NATO chief are still scanty, he hinted on what topped the agenda of the engagement in a tweet he made an hour back.

“Had a chat with @AndersFoghR, the former Prime Minister of Denmark and Secretary General of @NATO on the sidelines of the Copenhagen Democracy Summit.  We discussed the state of Democracy in Uganda and the great lakes region,” Bobi tweeted Monday.

Bobi Wine, 41 is still hinged on his mission to topple one of Africa’s longest reigning despots, Gen. Yoweri Museveni. Just a fortnight back, Bobi met a delegation from the European Union representatives to Uganda. They discussed Uganda’s political future and the state of democracy in the country.
