NUP Deputy Spokesperson Waiswa celebrates birthday in style

The National Unity Platform party Deputy Spokesperson Alex Waiswa Mufumbiro yesterday marked his 47th birthday in style.

The outspoken NUP firebrand activist is an elder twin brother to Kenneth Kato Mufumbiro with whom they are identical.

So many tributes poured in from NUP honchos including the party president Bobi Wine who applauded Mufumbiro for being resilient and composed.

“A very happy birthday to our favourite twins.
We are very proud of you and you know it.
Mpozi nekilala, comrade Alex Waiswa Mufumbiro and #KenethKaitoMufumbiro, can you please tell us who is sitting and who is standing? ????,” Bobi posted and attached a picture of the twins.

The NUP party secretary general David Lewis Rubongoya wrote,

“On this day, this great man- a brother from another mother, a revolutionary per-excellence was born. Alex Waiswa Mufumbiro you are loved and celebrated. Thank you for continuously being a thorn in the flesh of the regime and its enforcers. A very happy birthday to you. May you live long enough to see a more just, fair and equitable Uganda for which you continue to make incredible sacrifices.”

Ever since Mufumbiro was unveiled to deputize Joel Ssenyonyi in the PR sector, the NUP party has maintained its defiance stance.

“We are extremely humbled by the millions of shout-outs my twin and I have received from all over the world. I am forever grateful for the out pouring love you express towards us in the struggle to oust this regime.To you my President and generational leader I shall forever be grateful,” Mufumbiro wrote to appreciate the birthday tributes that poured in Friday.
