An activist has dropped piglets outside parliament demanding for the interdiction of the speaker Anita Among and other ministers implicated in the diversion of Karamoja iron sheets.

The casually dressed man brought two piglets with him which he disposed outside parliament and started demanding the arrest of the speaker and all Ministers involved in the iron sheets bonanza.

“If the US can interdict a former president Donald Trump, what makes Anita Among, Nabbanja and Alupo think they are immune from the law,” the protester said. “We demand all these ministers to be arrested, not just Kitutu,” he added.

Police rushed to the scene and arrested him immediately.

He is being detained at the Central Police Station in Kampala.

The office of the Speaker of Parliament was not immediately available to respond to our inquiries by the time of filing this report.

It should be recalled that the speaker Anita Among who had urged ministers to each ‘carry their own cross’ went on to procure 500 iron sheets which she returned to the office of the Prime Minister to compensate those that had been distributed in her home district, Bukedea.
