By Saturday evening, the entire globe was awash with the news of an attempted coup in Moscow, that saw the Kremlin leader experience one of the greatest threats in the history of his 23 year old reign.

The Russian tyrant Vladmir Putin reportedly fled in an emergency presidential jet to St. Petersburg as the Wagner troops advanced towards Moscow with the backing of the forces that had willingly surrendered to the Wagner chief.

Some reports say Mr. Yevgeny Prigozhin halted his advance toward Moscow and pulled his fighters back. He has been granted amnesty in nearby Belarus after brokering a deal with Vladmir Putin.

As the events in Russia unfolded, Muhoozi Kainerugaba, the son to Ugandan tyrant in a tweet wrote that his army would be deployed to defend Putin to the last minute.

Gen. Museveni himself was reportedly scared and made 5 phone calls to the Kremlin supreme leader though state house sources say his efforts to reach out to Putin didn’t materialize as his calls were ignored throughout the hours of panic.
