Four time FDC party presidential candidate Rtd. Col. Dr. Kizza Besigye has unleashed plans to continue with his confrontational struggle as he nears his 70th age.

The self announced president of the People’s Front for Transition today spoke at a presser at his head offices at Katonga road. Besigye had last made a public appearance on December 30th at the joint opposition prayers that were thwarted by police.

“I’m back in action, l have been out of the country for sometime because l had an infectionous disease which needed medical attention out of the country,” Besigye who just returned from a medical trip said.

Besigye also said that the crisis in politics is severe and everyone is seeing that Museveni is getting weak and he will go whether he wants it or not.

“Those around Museveni are worried about whether he will wake up. Their concern is about how to maintain the state capture,” Besigye remarked. “That’s why his son is moving around being active contrary to the law with the MK movement, which people seem not to understand,” he added.

Besigye also urged Ugandans to be firm. “The objective of what we are doing is the need for a reset of the whole state to get it out of the state capture and then the restructuring will happen when ownership has been changed,” he said.

On the iron sheets saga Besigye says the real culprits should be apprehended. “The mabaati issue is one of the significant corruption that is happening in this country. The people in mabaati were noticed because it was visible but those are not the real thieves,” he said.
