Bobi mourns Kato Lubwama
President Kyagulanyi Ssentamu Robert alias Bobi Wine has taken to Twitter to mourn the fallen ex Rubaga South legislator Hon. Kato Lubwama whose exceptionality was pronounced in the field of Comedy and theatrics.
The NUP president in a Wednesday tweet acknowledged that whereas they were politically parallel, he held the deceased in high regard given his tremendous contributions to the music and film industry in Uganda.
“This morning, we woke up to the shocking news of the sudden death of former Lubaga South MP and renowned actor Kato Lubwama ‘Bidugu’. While we sometimes disagreed, I salute his contribution to theatre and the whole entertainment industry. My condolences to his family, friends, fans and fellow artistes. Kitalo!,” Bobi tweeted.

Kato Lubwama, a legendary comedian succumbed to heart failure in the wee morning hours at around 1am according to his relatives. It is said he suffered a heart attack and was rushed to Sana Medical centre in Bunamwaya where he was pronounced dead.
In his will as reported by Bukedde, a local media tabloid, he had requested to have his body conveyed to the national theatre for public viewing that he reportedly said should last a full week.
