Bobi Wine finally meets Ssegirinya
The NUP party president Kyagulanyi Ssentamu Robert aka Bobi Wine says he has been visited by Kawempe North lawmaker Muhammad Ssegirinya.
The visit comes barely 12 days since the MPs were granted bail by the Masaka High Court Judge Lawrence Tweyanze.
Since their release, the MPs had taken a leave out of the media limelight. The duo according to their families have been receiving treatment at local medical centers.
Bobi wrote about the visit;
Today, Hon. Ssegirinya Muhammad visited me at home in Magere. I welcomed him from the long period of illegal detention. I also got a call from Hon. Allan Sewanyana. Both comrades assured me that their commitment to our struggle for freedom and democracy still stands firm.
