Boy who joked about speaker Among ‘bleaching’ involved in nasty accident

A boy who recently shot to prominence after tweeting a banter about the skin color of the speaker Rt. Hon. Anita Annet Among Magogo, has been involved in an accident.

John Kelton Ssentamu, 25, a resident of Rubaga division was according to lingering reports involved in an accident in a Toyota premio vehicle that he and his colleagues were traveling in.

Kelton sustained severe life threatening injuries and has since been rushed to a local hospital for treatment. Reports say that doctors at this poorly equipped facility have advised that he gets referred to Mulago hospital where a CT scan can be made to ascertain the gravity of his internal injuries.

Kelton was last year abducted from his work place in downtown Kampala and detained for almost a month before he was paraded in Buganda Road Court and charged with computer misuse and disturbing the person of the speaker of Parliament.

Kelton would later be remanded by the Buganda Road Court magistrate Gladys Kamasanyu. He spent 2 months in Luzira prison before he was reproduced in court and his lawyer Keeya Mwanje convinced court that he was eligible for bail.

He obtained a UGX 1m cash bail before the charges would later be quashed by court after the constitutional court nullified section 25 of the Computer Misuse Act 2011, upon which he had been charged.
