BREAKING: Police arrest Medical interns
Wandegeya Division police has this morning foiled a press conference held by medical interns protesting their unpaid salary and arrears.
Moments to the presser that was to be held at Mulago guest house, police deployed heavily to deter the medical interns from gatherin ahead of their planned march to parliament.
The medics led by the interim Uganda Medical Association president Dr. Joel Mirembe have vowed to march with their petition to parliament seeking audience with government to address their grievances.
