Bullets rock Nansana as CMI gunmen abduct NUP supporter

Residents of Nansana, Wakiso district have been gripped by fear after plain clothed operatives believed to be officers from the Chieftaincy of Military Intelligence-CMI swung into action in broad daylight and laid siege on a supporter of the opposition National Unity Platform party.

Onzima Abdul Aziz alias High Tower was engulfed by callous looking gunmen clutched on their rifles who subdued him violently and bundled him into a waiting Toyota Hiace vehicle known as a drone.

Eye witnesses who saw the atrocious acts say bullets were fired in attempts to scare away members of the public from trailing the drone.

By press time, the UPDF spokesperson Brig. Gen. Felix Kulayigye had not accounted for the operation.

Onzima had just returned from Nairobi, Kenya where he has languished in exile for the past 5 months. He was being pursued by CMI prior to his escape from Uganda when his confidant Jamushid Kavuma was notoriously injured last year when a raid was made on a local bar dubbed Gladiator Paradise in Masanafu, Rubaga division, Kampala.
