Vendors at Katwe Market in Makindye division were Thursday gripped by fear and terror as armed callous masked men believed to be operatives from the Chieftaincy of Military Intelligence-CMI abducted a woman.

Their prey, Ms. Mariam Kaleebu, an avid National Unity Platform party supporter was beaten up before being bundled into a waiting drone by men brandishing Ak 47 rifles.

According to reports, she is being detained at the CMI headquarters in Mbuya where she is being grilled on the looming nationwide protests that oppressed Ugandans are planning to hold.

No security agency has come out to acknowledge detaining Kaleebu by press time. Even the motive remains speculative and our reporter is relying on what her contemporaries anticipate.

Abduction of NUP supporters has been a routine tendency by the repressive NRM regime.
