CMI gunmen raid Mufumbiro home

There was terror on Saturday night at the precincts of National Unity Platform party Deputy Spokesperson Alex Waiswa Mufumbiro as CMI drone men attempted to whisk off his family.

Mufumbiro who faces a UCC ban that bars him from making appearances on mainstream media took to Facebook to narrate the events that surrounded circumstances under which CMI goons charged at his family members.

In the post, Mufumbiro narrates that his family was put under duress by the errant gunmen who possessed a picture of him wearing a red beret. It is reported that the gunmen battered the terrified children and women they found at Mufumbiro’s home.

Below is the statement detailing the terror;

Saturday 27th May is the day my family and neighbours will remember as the day the terror I fight against reached our gates.
Men in a white van, dressed in hoodies presumably armed,with the number plates covered to conceal their identities knocked at my gate. My family members opened the gate and the men pulled out a photograph of myself wearing a red beret and white shirt.

They demanded for confirmation that I lived at the premises and my terrified family answered.They requested for my kids claiming i had asked them to pick them.They said they would be back when my House help offered to call me and left with the obvious indication that they will be back sooner.

This is a continuous cycle of terrorism that we in the National Unity Platform are living with. Unfortunately our spouses and children are equal victims and there is real fear in my household that death is closer than people imagine. Some people who are experiencing this terrorism will relate and even sympathise, but Ugandans simply cannot afford this constant terror .
For now I will do whats right and report the matter to the police.
Waiswa Alex Mufumbiro
Deputy spokes person, National Unity Platform.
