Ex MP Odonga Otto proposes execution of Ministers who stole Karamoja iron sheets

Former Aruu County Member of Parliament Hon. Odonga Otto has recommended the execution of all incriminated cabinet Ministers who shared relief items destined for Karachunas in Karamoja region.

Speaking on the ‘Big Talk’ show on NBS TV this morning, the former firebrand lawmaker had no kind words for ministers who shared Karamoja iron sheets.

“We stand with the judiciary and we ask them not to be intimidated by the positions of these Ministers. For the first time I appreciate president Museveni for being lenient. We have at least seen Ministers entering prison,” he said. “I actually want to go to Kiira division police to see for myself if this minister is in the cells. I will believe by seeing. I actually wanted to take some beer last night to celebrate when the Minister was arrested,” he added.

Otto however slammed the speaker of Parliament Rt. Hon. Anita Annet Among for branding the assortment of iron sheets she returned to the Office of the Prime Minister stores on Thursday.

“How do you brand public items with your own initials. I find this wrong. Anita Among is my friend but I want to see her prosecuted because she has admitted to taking the iron sheets,” Otto said. “There’s nothing like taking the iron sheets unconsciously. That’s nonsense. All these people are culpable,” Otto fumed.
