First lady marks women’s day anchoring news on radio

Mrs. Barbie Ithungo Kyagulanyi, the wife to the National Unity Platform party president Bobi Wine has this morning marked the international women’s day celebrations anchoring news at Buganda Kingdom owned Radio dubbed Central Broadcasting Services (CBS).

Barbie, a prominent pillar in charity and feminism was invited to be the anchor of the day as the country marks the international women’s day celebrations.

On her return from the radio, she in a brief statement applauded the management of CBS for considering her for the grande moment of anchoring news before an heterogeneous audience.

“To mark International Women’s day today, I was hosted at Cbs Fm 88.8 Emanduso to read the 9am bulletins. Among the headlines featured was a call by different women leaders to women and girls to embrace technology and use it to improve their skills. Digital technology can be a powerful tool for promoting gender equality and empowering women and girls to achieve their full potential. So, use these platforms to the benefit of all women and humanity in general,” she wrote on Facebook.
