Minister Muhanga in fear as past thieving scandal replicates

Margaret Annet Muhanga Mugisha – MAMM, the state Minister for Primary Healthcare is in grave fear after her criminal corrupt case depicting her role in the illegal theft of UBC land has replicated.

In 2014, she Fraudulently tried to acquired UBC TV Land, at UGx “10 billion”, which she got by selling her goats & cows.

She paid cash, which she said was transported on the truck and she didn’t pay taxes to Uganda Revenue Authority.

In AUG 2016 while appearing before COSASE, she confirmed that she acquired 23 acres of City land belonging to UBC at UGx.10Bn, which she bought from Gordon Twinamatsiko – Tropical General Auctioneers who later is revealed as co-owner with MMM based on court decision.

The purchase happened under Extreme Innovations belonging to MAMM & Karooro Okurut.

On 14/2/11, UBC sold this land to Haba Group ( owned by Basajjabalaba at UGx 11.5 Bn.

3 months later, Haba Group sold the same land to a Deo & Sons Properties Ltd at Shs 22 Bn.

UBC Later cancelled the sale since the Minister responsible wasn’t consulted, Deo & Sons Properties went to court, UBC won the case. Haba and Deo & Sons appealed, but on 16/3/13 The appeal reversed the high court decision, UBC to refund UGx. 11Bn & titles return to them.

UBC failed to repay, and the land was auctioned by Tropical General Auctioneers to MAMM.
The advert read owned by UBC yet on titles it was Deo and Sons.

The land went through 3 different owners on the same day at 2.42pm, at 2.44pm, & at 2.46pm – ending up in MAMM hands.

Justice Kakuru- (RIP) also observed that all parties including their lawyers, participated in the planning & execution of the fraud.

He Ordered Commissioner lands to cancel MAMM’s title & reinstate UBC and refused to award costs of the suits due to unprecedented fraud.
