Operatives from the Chieftaincy of Military Intelligence-CMI have dropped a missing Boda Boda rider after months of holding him in a safe house.

Charles Atiku, a Boda rider was last night dropped by a drone in Luweero after spending 12 months in custody of security operatives. He was visibly frail and unable to walk after enduring months of torture.

According to locals, Atiku was abducted alongside 3 other people who remain unaccounted for.

“When he was abducted, he was picked up with 3 other people. It is only the woman that survived because the abductors dropped her that very day,” said a Luweero local. “We thought he is dead. We had lost hope even,” he added.

Atiku has been found lying unconscious along the road. Locals who discovered him thought he is dead already.

“He was dropped by a drone in the night. They just left him lying unconscious and drove off,” said a local.

Meanwhile, the whereabouts of Ongima Geoffrey remain unaccounted for with security reluctant to issue a statement.
