Muhoozi rally flops

The recently held rally of the MK movement has registered a massive flop, after youths declined to attend citing rampant poverty in the country.

The MK army which is encountering stiff rejection among the youths who accuse the first son, Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba with being complicit to the corruption tendencies of his father Yoweri Museveni government.

Muhoozi has in recent tweets tried to distance himself from the action of his father’s regime, but the youthful generation remains unconvinced with some perceiving it to be rabble rousing.

During his trip to Sebei last month, Muhoozi rally organizers failed to meet the costs of transportation of their supporters who had been promised UGX 5,000 as their refund. On the contrary however, the money was stolen by the ring leaders.

Fearing a replica of such scenarios, the youths have opted to boycott Muhoozi army’s most recent rally that was staged over the weekend.

The first son is notably a serving army official with prevailing laws prohibiting him from making political statements. However, on the contrary he has announced his presidential bid for 2026 and gone on to launch his nationwide coordination structures.
