With the presidential address to Parliament looming in the coming few minutes, multiple sources have revealed that cabinet Ministers shortlisted to have benefited from the Karamoja iron sheets mess are making last minute calls to Gen. Salim Saleh to rescue their cabinet positions.

It is reported that Gen. Museveni is infuriated with the cartel of mafias within his government who have made it a hobby to steal from the Ugandan taxpayers.

A cabinet meeting held last Monday showed that Museveni was enraged by the theft exhibited by his fishermen’s cabinet. He asked his Prime Minister Robinah Nabbanja to explain what the essence of passing a UGX 39b budget was yet the real beneficiaries from Karamoja did not reap from the project.

“Why did you take the money if you didn’t want it to help the Karamajongs?,” Museveni reportedly asked. “You are all babeffi (thieves in Gishu language). I want to know why parliament and IGG are wasting time when this is a criminal matter. Let CID investigate these ministers. They are criminals,” he added.

With the tempers flaring in cabinet, several ministers are contemplating to dodge the Kololo independence grounds address that is set to happen. Some have reportedly consulted Gen. Saleh to speak to Museveni so he can tone down.
