NRM bribes University students to stage anti-gay protests

The ruling NRM party has through its Youth Wing mobilizer Macxzon Muhwezi, a son to security Minister Maj. Gen. Jim Muhwezi, issued envelopes to university students to demonstrate in a bid to give an impression to the international community that Ugandans are contented with the newly passed anti-homosexuality Bill 2023.

Muhwezi Macxzon is a renowned NRM cadre who earlier last year mobilized ISO spies to storm the US Embassy in protest of the sanctions slapped on firmer CMI boss Abel Kandiho.

He spent the night mobilizing University student leaders to join hands with the NRM government and try to repulse the pressure from the West in retaliation for the anti-homosexuality Bill that has sparked a global outroar.

Sources say each participant has been given UGX 50,000 to be part of the march. They received this money on Wednesday morning at Emerald Hotel, Bombo road our trusted sources say.

Unlike previous demonstrations that have been thwarted by police, the anti-gay marchers enjoyed police protection and security in a scene reminiscent of the support EACOP protests seen last year.

Macxzon and his group walked for 3kms from Wandegeya to Parliament where they were received by the Bugiri Municipality MP Hon. Asuman Basalirwa on behalf of the speaker Anita Among.
