NUP supporter shot inside drone in grave danger
Hamid Muyoodi, one of the seven suspects arrested yesterday in a notorious security led operation in Nansana is in grave danger after bleeding profusely due to the wounds he sustained inside a Toyota Hiace vehicle from where he was shot.
Reports say Muyoodi has not yet received any treatment 24 hours since the tragedy occured. Police in a statement issued by the Kampala Metropolitan Police Deputy Spokesperson described this as an ‘accident’.
“Muyoodi is one of the suspects that has moved away with a wound. This was an accident that occured in the vehicle as they were preparing to drive away. But we are hopeful the injury is minor and we are waiting for the outcome from the medical side where he has been taken. They are going to be taken to one of our Police stations for interrogations,” remarked Owoyesigyire.
Sources say Muyoodi’s wound has not been addressed and it is profusely bleeding without any medical attention as Owoyesigyire alleged. The shooter cop has also not been charged for attempting to murder a compliant handcuffed, subdued suspect.
