PICTORIAL: Bobi hosts Iftar Dinner
Opposition National Unity Platform party president Kyagulanyi Ssentamu Robert aka Bobi Wine yesterday hosted a delegation of Muslim faithful at his Magerere residence in Wakiso District.
The delegation was led by Muslim clerics notably Sheikhs and Imams, with political leaders in the NUP party who included Members of Parliament, local council leaders and members of the party Secretariat.
Kawempe North MP Muhammad Ssegirinya was also present at the dinner.
Bobi was commended for this annual treat which he always hosts at his home towards every end of Ramadan.
In pictures retrieved from the president’s socials, Bobi is seen hosting his guests to the Iftar dinner treat.
“As Muslims draw close to the end of Ramadan, we were very humbled and delighted to host our Muslim brothers and sisters to an Iftar dinner at our home in Magere. Among our guests were families whose people are still missing or in detention. We pray that Allah (SWT) continues to bless all of those who are fasting, and give us the strength to continue fighting for justice. Assalam alaikum warahmaturai wabarakatu,” Bobi wrote this morning.
