Robert Amsterdam, a former lawyer of the People Power movement, in a Thursday tweet revealed a well orchestrated plot by the NRM regime to silently lace imported lethal North Korean poison to finish off the NUP president, Bobi Wine.

According to Amsterdam, a lawyer previously deported from Uganda on the orders of Gen. Yoweri Museveni, an insider in the Ugandan security intelligence shared the plans to him, and other concerned Bobi Wine friends.

“We recently received a threat, allegedly claiming to come from within the Museveni regime, that ISO is planning to use a “North Korean” poison on @HEBobiwine and prevent him from leaving Uganda. Given their record of brutality, I can’t simply dismiss the threat as a hoax,” tweeted Amsterdam.

Bobi Wine retweeted about the evil plans against him with a brief caption expressing his fearlessness.

“Like all autocratic despots, Mr. Museveni survives by intimidating and eliminating his political opponents, especially those he has failed to compromise. But I am not scared. We shall never stop fighting the evil dictator, even if it means paying the ultimate price,” retweeted Bobi.

The NUP president cast a light on the assassination allegations, leaving no stone unturned, as he insisted that such will not disable him from the struggle.

Bobi, 40, a popstar turned musician has survived a multiplicity of assassination attempts by the SFC which even in August 2018 claimed the life of his driver, Yasin Kawuuma.
