Speaker Among bribes Bukedea Bishops to receive holy communion, petition claims

A controversial petition attributed to 12 individuals clamining to be locals of Bukedea district has reportedly annoyed the speaker Rt. Hon. Anita Among, credible sources say.

Inside the petition, the proponents raise serious concerns about the personality of their area woman MP also speaker of the eleventh parliament Rt. Hon. Anita Among. They task the Catholic church to ‘end communion rites for speaker Anita Among’ citing some observations relating to the social and political life of the speaker.

“There is fear that because Among walks about with huge amounts of cash, that perhaps she could be buying her way to the holy altar of Communion,” petitioners allege. “We are calling upon the Holy church to investigate all Bishops and priests who have offered communion to Anita Among in order to establish whether this has been an act in ignorance or one induced by bribery,” the petition reads in bit.

The petitioners go on to rally the church to pronounce itself on the speaker’s communion rites as they argue that she does not qualify to obtain such.

“Anita Among is a third wife to a Muslim man, Magogo. There needs to be a reconciliation of how a catholic being a third wife of a Muslim man can continue purporting to be fully prepared for catholic communion,” the petition reads. “It is well known jn Bukedea that Among practices human sacrifice, witchcraft and is a devil worshipper. She is often seens with witches and has visited several shrines in Uganda, Mombasa, Zanzibar and Malindi,” the petition further claims.

The petitioners further allege that the speaker’s hands are blood stained as they reveal some of the murders they say she participated in. “Ojakol Michael, Joseph Okwalinga, and Moses Olemukan, the LCV of Bukedea are all reported to have died at the bleached and blood soaked hands of Anita Among. They are victims of Among’s land grabbing in Amujeju, Bukedea district,” reads the petition.

The petition has been signed off by twelve members namely; Ms. Amulen Annet, Mr. Opuno Robert, Ms. Aeri Margaret, Ms. Adiolo Betty, Mr. Omongole Sam, Ms. Achola Florence, Mr. Onyait Felix, Mr. Odeke Party, Ms. Amutosi Kaana, Ms. Asirut Esther, Mr. Okalebo Sam, and Tino Rose.
