The speaker of Parliament Anita Annet Among in fear of meeting court reparations in regard with the illegal censure of NUP MP Zaake Francis Butebi from the Parliamentary Commission, reportedly connived with senior constitutional court Judge Steven Musota to delay the verdict.

A source in the constitutional court at Twed Towers told this website that the speaker Among lured justice Musota to a mouth watering promotion to the supreme court where he now sits as a senior judicial officer.

Zaake’s lawyers led by city Lord Mayor Erias Lukwago had raised a plethora of grounds amongst which included the absence of quorum and bias of the speaker who was both the complainant and judge in a matter where she had interests.

Our source at the court says the speaker influenced the judges and asked them to delay the ruling till the tenure of Parliament leaders comes to an end in November 2023.

Now, today Zaake and his legal team flanked court to ascertain the progress of the court case only to be told that the ruling is not yet ready, a year since the case was filed.
