Top city lawyer shot dead in Kajjansi

A top City Lawyer known as Mukisa Ronald was shot dead last night by unknown gun men as he approached his house.

Eye witnesses adjacent to the scene say they heard gunshots at around 11pm but they were unable to see the hooded shooters.

The shooting tops to the already prevailing May gun violence that was ignited by Pte. Wilson Sabiiti on May 2nd when he shot the state labour Minister Rtd. Col. Charles Okello Engola.

Police acknowledge that they’ve known about the shooting and have since dispatched a team of detectives to ascertain the circumstances and retrieve crucial evidence to construct the scene of crime.

Police statement;

Kampala Metropolitan Police South (KMP South) and Kajjansi Police Division are actively investigating a tragic incident of murder by shooting that occurred on the night of 30th May 2023. The incident took place at Kitiko Birongo, Ndejje Division, Makindye Sebagabo in Wakiso District.

The victim has been identified as Mukisa Ronnie, a 45-year-old lawyer working at IBC Advocates located in Namanda Plaza, Kampala. Mr. Mukisa was a resident of Kitiko Birongo in Ndejje Division, Makindye Sebagabo, Wakiso District .
