UPDF still holding Sabiiti body, relatives say
Relatives of fallen UPDF private Wilson Sabiiti have decried the stress and depression associated with the army’s refusal to surrender the body.
The relatives say they have been calling the UPDF leadership to see the progress of how the remains can be repatriated to Kabarole for burial.
According to the UPDF spokesperson Brig. Gen. Felix Kulayigye, the army is still investigating how exactly their soldier shot and killed himself inside the Salon moments after murdering the Minister.
They say the body shall be released as soon as the investigations have been completed.
Family members of Sabiiti say they are overwhelmed by the bills and costs of feeding the mourners who have been at their home in Kabarole District.
