VIDEO: Bobi Wine performance thrills Danish nationals
The National Unity Platform party president Kyagulanyi Ssentamu Robert alias Bobi Wine who is on official duties is presently in Copenhagen, Denmark where he is continuing to use his music talent to advance advocacy and expose the rot and injustices in Uganda.
Bobi, 41 travelled with his long time singing partner Nubian Li, a former political prisoner who braved six months in Kitalya prison following his December 2020 arrest in Kalangala.
The duo performed before a mammoth audience of high profile Danish activists, philanthropists and politicians who hailed him for using his natural talents to fight for the rights of oppressed Ugandans. Amongst the attendants in the congregation was ex NATO chief Anders Fogg Rasmussen who is famed for having led a campaign of toppling Libyan dictator Muammar Gaddafi in 2011. Rasmussen led NATO as Secretary general between 2009 to 2014.
In his performance, Bobi sang about the political prisoners who continue to languish in detention in prisons.
