Kyambogo University students have this morning clashed with police and security agencies as they repelled the draconian policies of tuition increment, missing marks and delayed allowances for government students.

Police and UPDF have been engaging the students in running battles lobbying teargas at peaceful student protesters who had convened at the Students Centre to hold a presser.

Injuries and scuffles were the order of the morning. The protests have been organized by the students’ guild leaders.

The University administration was mute on the matter by press time.
